Experience Ilminster CIC was set up in 2008 to promote and celebrate Ilminster as superb place to live work and play. 

​

It organises a number of events including the 4 day Ilminster Midsummer Experience which includes the famous Flag Festival over the second weekend in June, Ilminster Somerset Day in early May, and provides administrative back up to Ilminster’s Town Crier’s Competition and British Disabled Strongman Competition. It also organises Team Ilminster, the town’s volunteer self-help task force.
